Green Acres Foundation is a proud member of the community and endeavors to offer support in many ways.

• Through a contractual agreement, we provide free office space for the Meals on Wheels program and prepare all meals for their organization.

• The 2006 Joel Nicolaas Arnoldussen Memorial Golf Tournament for Green Acres was the most successful to date raising approximately $40,000 for life enrichment activities and equipment for seniors.

• Members of our Administration, Management and staff participate in the Canadian Cancer Society annual Relay for Life.

• We ensure attendance and participation in the seniors’ fair, community events and public forums.

• As an organization, we believe in giving back to our community through representation on various committees and boards such as:
