Major Multi-Use Development Coming to the Crossings, West Lethbridge
Lethbridge, AB — Tuesday, October 28, 2025 — A transformative wave of investment and development is coming to The Crossings in West Lethbridge, with four major projects set to shape the community’s future. Together, these residential, commercial, hospitality, and seniors living initiatives represent more than $300 million in total new investment, and signal a new era of growth and vibrancy for the city’s west side.
West Lethbridge’s First Hotel Development by TCI
Leading the way, TCI is investing in a landmark hospitality development, featuring a new full-service hotel — the first of its kind in West Lethbridge — alongside the company’s fourth Wendy’s restaurant in the city. The hotel will include 120 rooms, a full-service tower, and an extended-stay component designed for long-term guests. Construction is set to begin in 2026.

Commercial Expansion by Sherwood Developments Inc.
Complementing the hospitality investment, Sherwood Developments Inc. — alongside partners Avison Young Lethbridge and Silver Ridge Construction — is spearheading a substantial expansion of commercial and retail spaces within The Crossings. The 11-acre project will deliver more than 100,000 square feet of mixed-use development, bringing new businesses, services, and amenities to residents on the west side.

Innovative New Residential Community by Cedar Ridge Homes
Further strengthening the area’s foundation, Cedar Ridge Homes is proud to undertake a significant investment with over 450 planned urban residences. The 13-acre, multi-phase development represents new and innovative housing options. With a variety of trend-setting designs, construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026.

Currently in the design and funding phase, the 2.11-acre development will offer affordable, independent living options for seniors. Residents will enjoy proximity to key amenities such as grocery stores, medical clinics, a public library, and recreation facilities.
