Green Acres Foundation is a non-profit housing management body established by the Province of Alberta.
Since 1960, we have provided affordable homes and care services for senior citizens in Southern Alberta.
We believe quality of life matters at every age. That's why we're not just a “retirement home”; we’re creating senior living communities with a focus on independence, affordability, quality care and connection.

A message from our Chief Executive Officer
Since I joined Green Acres Foundation as Chief Executive Officer in 1996, there have been changes in government, in the province, and in southern Alberta but one of the things that has not changed is the need for reliable, affordable seniors housing.
I am proud to say that Green Acres Foundation continues to meet this need in Lethbridge and the surrounding area with accommodations offering independent and supportive living facilities.
Our caring management and staff are second to none and our facilities continue to meet and exceed provincial requirements and resident expectations. Whether you are looking for maintenance-free apartment living or require a personal care environment, Green Acres has the home for you.
